About KAISA

Rooted in social media, focused on families.

Our founder, Edward Yu, and our team operate our own channels on Douyin, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu and Bilibili, which together reach 300,000 followers. Most families come to us through these channels, and many first learn about a school there.

Each year, we guide 35 to 50 students as they begin their education abroad. Most currently enroll in private middle and high schools in the United States, both day and boarding. We are also expanding our work to K-12 schools in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and Switzerland.

We are based in Beijing. Our team of 12 to 15 includes experienced educational consultants and an in-house media team.

Edward Yu, our founder, has 300,000 followers across Chinese platforms, including more than 100,000 on WeChat Channels. Since 2023, campus visits have been central to his work, and he travels to the United States approximately three times a year.

We are pleased to support admission teams in connecting with Chinese families.

All at no cost to your school

    Webinars and interviews

    We interview members of your admission team over Zoom or Riverside and share the conversation on our channels.

    Virtual information sessions

    We invite Chinese parents and students to a virtual information session with your school.

  3. 03

    A home base in Beijing

    When you travel to China, you are welcome to use our Beijing office as a base, and we can help arrange meetings with interested families. Please contact us in advance; we host schools that meet our quality standards.

    Our city seminars

    We host regular parent seminars in major Chinese cities beyond Beijing. If your travel coincides with our schedule, we would be pleased to welcome you as a guest speaker to introduce your school to many families at once.

    Our family school-visit tours

    We regularly bring Chinese parents and students to visit schools in the United States. If you would like your school to be included in one of these tours, please contact us.

    A visit to your campus

    Edward and our consultants travel to visit schools about three times a year. If you would like us to visit, please let us know, and we will do our best to include your school in our itinerary.

How We Visit

We cover our own travel costs, and we do not accept paid promotion from schools.

During our visits, we ask only for your time and openness, so that we can understand your school fully.

Our assessments are our own. When we visit or feature a school, we discuss its weaknesses as well as its strengths. This is how we find the right match for each family and each school.
